Giving Tree is going to L.A! It's our first annual holiday trunk show party at the amazing restaurant JAR at 8225 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. We have LIVE music from our dear friend Caitlin Krisko, incredible food by Suzanne Tracht, drinks... AND JEWELS!
I could not be more excited for this trip. Kristen is coming to help. It is my thank you to her for doing an absolutely incredible job on our website, for doing an incredible job on EVERYTHING.
If you live anywhere close to West Hollywood Ca, please come! It's from 2-4pm on Saturday December 1st.
We will be posting tons of pictures and telling stories about our whole weekend in sunny Southern California!
By the way.. on Friday night, we are going to see GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY.. for those of you that have been following this blog, you already know. its my husband's band..

Which leads me into the announcement about that artist I told you I discovered on the corner of Prince and Mercer in Soho last month. ENRIQUE MUTHUAN. Have you seen him? Have you seen his jewelry?? Do I even need to say anything girls?? I mean, somethings are just OBVIOUS!.. can you say HOT!
What a time it is at Giving Tree Jewelry. I think if I felt any more grateful or blessed, I would spontaneously combust!

This Thanksgiving- In Memory of Maggie
Dear Friends of Giving Tree,
Forgive us for not updating our blog better this week. It has been a sad one here at Giving Tree. Our wonderful employee and dear friend, Maggie Smilie, passed away from her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis on November 12th.
Maggie was 19 years old. It is too sad to even really comprehend this loss. We spent the week remembering her amazing spirit, her easy laughter, and her LOVE for her family and friends. This thanksgiving, as well as being thankful for all of the blessings in our lives, we are going to be celebrating the brave and beautiful spirit-Maggie-that came into our world this summer and changed us forever.
In the coming weeks, we are going to be selecting some of Maggie's favorite pieces and donating the proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation. We are going to keep Maggie and her family close to our hearts and remember to be grateful for the family and friends we all have.

Congratulations To Our Favorite Country Girl- Jennifer Nettles!
Huge congratulations are in order! Our friend and a Giving Tree Jewelry Fan, Jennifer Nettles of the super hot, super great band 'Sugarland' just got her first COUNTRY MUSIC AWARD for DUO OF THE YEAR with Kristian Bush!
We knew it the moment we met her, this girl was going to change music! But it's so much fun to have seen her here in our hometown, opening for Vince Gill, with only about 40 people in the audience just three years ago... and now, she has won a GRAMMY for a duo with JON BON JOVI, and a CMA for the band!
A fellow Virgo, I hit it off with Jennifer right away, her manager, Gail Gellman, is one of my best friends. Gail wanted to give the band things to let them know ALL their dreams were going to come true! So, we created a special ALENE BRACELET by Jeanine Payer, that said just that "Dreams Come True." We also styled Jennifer and Kristian for their videos and performances. Kristian owns the ME AND RO FEARLESSNESS bracelet along with his Alene, and this Christmas, he bought Jennifer the 9 DIAMOND DAZZLE RING by Saundra Messinger! Jennifer has worn so many of our pieces, but the one that seems sum her up the best is what we call THE SUGARLAND BELIEVE NECKLACE. A gift from us to her, she wears it all the time, and recently, got the word 'believe' tattooed on her arm! If that's not inspired, I dont know what is!
Jennifer Nettles is the best example we have of what talent, perserverance, GREAT karma, and BELIEVING can do. She is a truly special woman and we could not be more proud to know her and support her throughout her incredible career!
