Greetings from Antarctica!

...Cape Cod actually. But with the amount of snow we've already received AND the single digit temperatures, it's feeling colder than I have ever remembered!

However, fresh off the NYC Accessory Circuit are our brand new HOT designs!!! And, I'm really excited about this year (WAY more so than the last two to be quite honest). This week I've been adding new products to the pages of GTJ... Alex & Ani is my new favorite. Not only are we neighbors (they're in Rhode Island), but their new collection is so so cool and fun. And for me, being 2 years out of college, it is ridiculously affordable (which I think everyone can appreciate right now!). Added to their already fantastic bangle collection, we're seeing feathers and beads and stones. Bold pieces and feminine pieces, all at a fabulous price.

"Double Happiness!" At Jewelry Shows in NYC!

Hello all! We just returned from the jewelry shows in New York City, and I have to just say.. BEST SHOW EVER! I think it was a combination of things, but mostly, I attribute it to Judith being there, and really and truly, NOONE HOLDS A CANDLE to her taste, eye, style, etc!
We rocked the Javitz center! The shows are like a big party for us, we get to see the artists we love, and I mean as PEOPLE not just as artists.. Merlin and Robin from Dogeared, Saundra, Alexis.. to name just a few..
But, we also made some amazing NEW friends! Danielle and Wade from Pyrrha, you two are EVERYTHING we believe in here at Giving Tree Jewelry, and we are so excited to welcome you to our family! AND old/new friends Stephanie and Alisa from DOUBLE HAPPINESS! I met them years ago at a show, and this is our year to reunite, and carry Stephanie's AMAZING AND INSPIRED creations!

It's Going To Be The Best Year EVER!- Gianna is Here!

2009 is the year of beautiful things coming to life! We know this, because on December 30th, at approximately 11:30 a.m. came the beautiful, perfect, amazing, LONG AWAITED arrival of GIANNA LYNN ANNUNZIATO.. Deanne had her baby!! We could not be more excited!! Over the last 8 months and three and A HALF weeks, we watched Deanne grow and grow. Thinking she would have to take the month of December (our busiest) off, we prepared to cover for her. But there she was, every day, doing a flawless job of working with our artists and customers, to have the most smooth going holiday season yet. She said goodbye to us on Friday, and by Tuesday, was a first time Mommy!
We love you Deanne! We love you Pete, and WE LOVE YOU GIANNA..
WELCOME TO THE WORLD!!!
Next time, I will tell you about all the NEW artists we are carrying this new year.. (you are going to love them) but for now, it's all about this one, perfect, creation.
